Hi, im an 18 year old striker and i have taken a long brake and but my speed is still my strenght but now when i'am backi fell thát im faster than the ball and i have a hard time controling it. i would like to know how a fast player can take better advantage of the ball in highspeed i often get it to far infront of me or i run away from it, any tips?
I'd say that you would have to train outside your comfort zone by running at full speed into the ball while controlling it. Try this: Go to a wall, make 3 targets on the wall. Play the ball off the wall, run into it at full speed, and controlling it, and touching it to either of the targets. Depending on the type of ball returned to you by the wall, you may not have to take a controlling touch, as you can just one-touch it back to the target. by Expert 10:45:10 Friday 31 December 2004
