is it easier to develop and learn when ur younger rather then when ur about 20?
Players go through different stages of development as they mature. Trying to improve your explosive speed at age 11 would be practically impossible. Ideally, you should practice drills that are appropriate for your age.
It is true that the more experienced players usually work on more complicated drills. But this is the same as if you were 10 years old and learning to kick the ball. Regardless of your age, you always need to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Effective training is a balancing act of working on drills that are challenging (but not frustrating) and engaging (but not boring) at the same time.
