this question might seem strange but it is very important. i am 15 years old and i have been playing soccer for 7 years but i always played bare foot, and now i have to start wearing boots and i can't feel the ball when i am dribbling with them is there something i can do to adjust playing with boots
You have to play in boots as much as possible to get your "feel" for the ball. Its no coincidence that so many South American stars grew up playing in bare feet. They developed a better feel for the ball than kids that played with boots. But since you are used to playing in bare feet, you will retain your superior feel for the ball. Just play with boots as much as you can. It will all come together for you and will eventually feel natural. by Expert 11:06:35 Friday 31 December 2004
