That is a great question.
In cases where you are playing against bigger opponents, you have to apply appropriate defensive methods.
First of all, do not get too close to your enemy because he will push you off the ball.
Keep a comfortable distance that will force him to slow down.
If you simply remain in front of him, he can’t get past you.
Be prepared to move laterally and have patience!
Charge in only when he pushes the ball forward and you feel you that you can reach it before he does.
Your tackle has to be very quick and interceptive.
Poke the ball away when you feel pressured because if you wait too long, your opponent will push you away.
Another defensive trick that you may apply is the "fake" tackle.
When containing your enemy, raise and stomp your foot suddenly, as if you are about to tackle.
This will usually freeze your opponent or will make him lose control of the ball.
