can you tell me how to bend the ball with the inside of my foot? (where to hit the ball, where i start my run up to the ball, etc) Also, which is easier, bending the ball with the inside of one's foot or using the outside?
Check out this diagram which explains the basics of the inside curve. Notice that your supporting foot should not be directed at your target (a) but must be pointing slightly aside (b) of it. Ideally, your should approach the ball at the same angle as formed by lines a and b. As you are approaching the ball, focus on where to place your supporting foot. Plant it slightly behind the ball. Swing your kicking foot not in direction of the target, but in a path parallel to line b. Strike the outside of the ball, slightly below its equator. The further to the outside you slice the ball, the more spin it will have. Your upper body also plays a role when bending the ball. If you lean back, you get more height on your kick. Keep practicing until you learn to combine in one smooth motion the planting of your foot with your swing.
It is usually easier to bend the ball with the inside of the foot, especially if you are still learning the skill. As you become more advanced, you will pick up alternative ways of curving the ball including on volleys.
