World Cup

i'm not sure if this is in the right area, but i've been having some random ideas lately...
since the world cup is getting closer, i was thinking maybe we could do something on here to celebrate it. like have a team collage making contest, a mock re-draw (for usa supporters...), or stuff like that. if anyone's interested post here, pm me, whatever. i'll help organize whatever needs done. hm, sounds pretty cool. maybe more details though to get peoples minds thinking. sounds cool though so we should work something out. ive been trying to think of new things to do.

well i can't really post more details....as i don't have any. i mean i just wanted to get this out there as a general idea. i'll definitely think on it though, and post more ideas as they come to me.

yer sounds cool. a team collage comp would be great, as anyone can do a collage. lol noone will do an australian team collage which is kinda slack but funny. btw how will we know if som1 didnt just get theirs off the net???

most collages that people make and then post on the web have some kind of signature on them that's pretty hard to erase. i guess you could probably tell by how well it's made though. another idea: they used to do this for the ncaa basketball tournament, i don't know if they still do. they would put brackets up for who was playing who, and you would have to fill it in, like who would win (completing the bracket) and the scores of the games and stuff. maybe we could do something like that? i guess it would be similar to the stuff that's already on golaco, but a little more in depth and world cup specific. just throwing out ideas Hala Galacticos |

that is a good idea cfrealmadrid. I gess you would hav to fill in the appropriate part of the bracket (eg. semifinals section) liek at least 2 days before or something. It will be too hard to guess the scores, so i say that you should just have to guess the winning team. This type of competition is good, as there is no "judges" who might be biased etc.

mate this topic has been dead for over 6 months and besides i would of though that you know the world cup has already been and gone and one more thing, there is now a world cup thread anyway.
