I've been wanting this to happen since 2006 and US Soccer finally has their guy. Needless to say I'm very excited to see what he can do and to see how he uses the talent he has. We play Mexico on August 10. I think the team will be re-energized and have a much better chance at winning than we do with Bob Bradley. That game will basically be a tryout and the players will want to make a good impression and show the new coach what they can do.

Thank god, we finally fired Bradley.. Were better off with this guy who seems to know alot of soccer. And its nice to know that US can now have another style rather then the longballs they are used to. US soccer is going to change i can assure you that and hopefully for the better

I am pleased for the pants of Canada. :p
Really though, this is a huge step up for USA in terms of coaching ability. I think that might've been the first in a multi-step plan that might see them through to the quarters again next WC, and maybe even the semis, if they get some luck as well. All the best! ![]() All roads lead to Rome. Triskaidekaphobia: The unnatural fear of the number 13. Most of Ballack's opposition have this phobia. I'm Scott. I didnt mind Bradley. Im so happy for this though. The reason is that papers wont dub him as the next Liverpool coach for a long time For the US guys. I hope you make the WC. Good Luck though. I think you might need it |

I thought USA only made it to last 16 in South Africa? A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. |

By 'again', I didn't mean they had gotten there last WC. The USA have been to the quarters before, back in 2002.

Hopefully USA can play good football with this guy. He knows a lot.
Still i saw USA like I side that would have a local national coach that would always motivate them with some national pride and honor. The USA is just a country thats all about nationalism and about how great it is to be an american, etc, etc. Football has a lot of psychological factors to it, and its not all just tactics.. Its just weird to have a german coach in the american team, it just sounds bizzarre and strange jaja.. but hopefully he'll do well, i thought he was going to coach them earlier, but they kept bradley for a while.. to know Him is to want to know Him more" "i don't know where the limit is, but I know where it is not" Tocar y moverse y tratarla siempre muy muy bien..' |
