More often than not, Ronaldo does exactly what I described. He stands over the ball on his toes, and indeed has to bend his knees to perform stepovers and other tricks. Standing up is for standing still. I'm not asking you to bend your knees like crazy, or way more than you usually do. A little will be fine. Try it in practice before you do anything in a game and, by all means, do what you feel is most natural if you must. ![]() All roads lead to Rome. Triskaidekaphobia: The unnatural fear of the number 13. Most of Ballack's opposition have this phobia. I'm Scott. Don't let the title fool you; I.AM.CANADIAN! |

Hmm..He just bends his knees when running, peforming tricks like normal, he doesnt seem to do anything to make himself lower down to have a better centre of gravity..I think if Ronaldo tried to be like messi, it just wouldnt work. IMO you have to take advantage of what you have, you don''t see yaya toure, trying to become smaller to be a better dribbler, he stands tall, uses a change of pace, and strength to dribble.
The thing about staying on your toes is helpful though, appreciate that. |

Not bad, but not too good... I'm not trying to be a dick or anything but listen up if you want to improve:
-get lower center of gravity, you look to stiff when dribbling.. Just get lower makes you quicker and better at dribbling believe me (bend your knees to get lower center of gravity) -you run flat footed, when dribbling try running on your toes -your moves look weird, try to be more smoother on the ball.. Look at ppl like kakaa and stuff -and try to do more game realistic moves even if you are just playing around like doing a single or double stepover (not a million like your doing)so it can become second nature in a game Take my advice if you want to improve or don't if you don't want to improve... |

Eddy, I'm going to record a new video as this one doesnt really give people much to help me with as i'm pissing about in it.
If I do some drills would people be willing to check it out and offer some advice? I'd just much prefer you to see me now training seriously before I take the advice. |
