his crosses have been poor, but i haven't seen any great crosses this world cup. "The road to athletic greatness is not marked by perfection but the ability to constantly overcome adversity and failure." |

Milner V Solvenia, that was a good cross.
Ball of the tournament, has to be the Germans super goal kick to put England behind. Don't know about the best player, Klose and Ozil have been magnificent for Germany though. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. |

His crosses have been worse than poor. It's at the stage where just giving Navas the ball and forcing him wide could become a legitimate defensive strategy. He really has been abysmal. ![]() ![]() www.mission-control.tumblr.com |

It is clearly the Jabulani, not navas. "The road to athletic greatness is not marked by perfection but the ability to constantly overcome adversity and failure." |

Well, what do you expect if you the reason you in the squad is to be an impact sub? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Fact is if you manage to start, you know if you play bad you are out of the first 11 and you put yourself under more pressure, and you don't play to well. Navas prime example.
Ozil has been impressive and the maturity of Bastian. I still want to see what they do without space and time. Contraeo the Portguese left/right back has been awesome. |

True he's won almost every 1 on 1 vs Torres today and he's been great the first 3 games. He's flirting with Bayern Munchen and might end up signing a contract with em for next season. Speaking of left full backs I think Michelle Bastos has been really good. to know Him is to want to know Him more" "i don't know where the limit is, but I know where it is not" Tocar y moverse y tratarla siempre muy muy bien..' |

Honda has been an eye opener. Veron on argentina, i like his style of play. Villa- how can we not mention him? Elia/sneidjer/robben- all have been dangerous and have been playing well robinho- not the best game the other day, but he was their best player in the group stage. He kept some magic in brazil's play and then schweinsteiger. quality player he has become Agreed! Villa's done well this tournament I think (well, except for that Englandesque penalty Also really liking the look at Ozil - big future ahead for him, make no mistake. Also, from an NZ perspective, mention HAS to go to Simon Elliott. The guy is 36, doesn't have a club, yet he played amazingly for the All Whites. Shows that passion wins over cash any day - a theme most of you will have probably picked up on especially in the NZ vs Italy game Don't wish things were easier... ... Wish you were better Focus on the journey, and the result will take care of itself |

I really hope Ozil stays at his club, instead of moving to a team like Real Madrid who will ruin him.

Serious contender for goal of the tournament too, with that free kick.

despite Gyan missing that penalty today, I feel he had a really good tournament. He was always in the middle of every Ghana attack all world cup.

I don't know about you all, but I am still in shock about the Germany game and how fucking good Schweinsteiger is. That was a legendary performance by him, amazing

He's been good all tournament. How about the golden ball for Bastian Sweinsteiger? I can't pinpoint a player who's been more integral to their team than he has.

Because his role doesn't have him in the spotlight I doubt it but he's who I'd give it to. I'd say it depends on the winner.
Germany - Muller (shouldn't be but I bet it would) or Klose (also shouldn't be) Spain - Villa or Iniesta Netherlands - Sneijder (unless Robben steps up next to games and overshadows him) but in my book it should be Sweinsteiger no when Germany finish unless someone really steps up their play. |
