On reading Nat's other post, if sins aren't ranked by magnitude of sin then surely good deeds follow the same idea?
So if everything else balanced out karma-wise, but I killed 10 people, and then made 11 seperate 1 cent donations to charity I would be sent to heaven?   www.mission-control.tumblr.com |

Well karma definitely isn't in the Bible, lol, but Hugh, it takes one sin to condemn you, and nothing but faith can save you. Every religion and faith that man has come up with requires its adherents to do something for salvation or nirvana or whatever...but in actuality, we can't do anything to save ourselves. Only a perfect sacrifice could make atonement for us.

Then why bother? Again, If I'm Hitler, but I have faith, and I sincerely believe in god, and I sincerely believe that killing 6 million jews will please god, do I still get into heaven? Or what if I realize it's wrong, but repent and still maintain total faith in god? Seriously, God is not that forgiving. If you need proof take a look at the old testament. Hugh like I said earlier, sin and immorality still have consequences outside of eternal damnation. And God is that forgiving: 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Yeah sorry Kakasgotskillz. Hugh, I will be more than willing to continue this discussion on the religion thread. |

I mean, everyone was all freaked out on 06/6/06, but did anything happen??? exactly, need more evidence. Y2K, nothing happened, once 2012 rolls around there will be a hundred more Y2Ks and 2012s so why worry?
(don't know how to quote but redrover said this), that makes absolutely 0 sense considering there will never be another year 2000 or year 2012, just my two cents |

Yes it is gonna happen, but its kind of kept quiet, cause people will freak out who knows htey know, the thing is not only maiyan forgot how u spell it, callendor showed earths end at 2012 december 21st, but it didnt say we gonna die or whatever, its gonna be big changes maybe we will die who knows, bet a thing is were was few more people picked a same date, one ladie from italy one ladie from egyt, and dude from china, hundreds of years ago then they even didnt had any conections, and they wrote 9/11, world wars 1-2, and all desastersm, and they happend, so its hard to ignore a fact makes it more to believe, and hard to forget it, just wait and see, but if its true, man i gotta go have some fun time  world changes u cant stop it.

i read in the paper other day that some scientist is saying that you know that atom thingy there building, well apparently there going to turn it on a week tomorrow and he says it will generate mini black holes that could in 4 years be big enough to turn earth inside out and in 4 years it 2012.
but its unlikely that will happen, very unlikely. if it does ill emigrate to the moon lol.  i was made to ignite |
