Foot pain, need help fast

Hey guys, I have a few quick questions for those who train intensely..

I am a decent dribbler, and last week I decided to try and improve my dribbling skills in order to become a better dribbler. I did around fifteen hours of ball work last week, much of which included close control drills, ball mastery drills, and dribbling a speed drills. I also incorporated some juggling into my sessions. I am right footed, and these drills have forced me to use my lef foot in ways which it would normally not be used.

After all of this training, I was feeling fine until today. For the last part of training, and after coming home, the outer sole of my left foot (starts just below the pinky toe and goes down about 4cm) was really sore. Now I'm walking with a limp, and I have no idea what caused this injury.. it just progresses slowly since this afternoon. I am positive this is not a fracture, as there is no pain when I am not putting pressure on my foot.

My questions are: is this something that happens when your body is adjusting? Is this injury the result of my training, putting excessive, unnatural strain on my left foot? Has anyone had this problem before? Any ideas/tips on how to recover as fast as possible? And finally, worst case scenario, how long do you think this injury will last?

Thanks heaps in advance. I really appreciate any help

its nothing bad i get this sometimes when i play too much football a day i think its ur foot just saying calm down its nothing serious mate and pain goes way after a few days, a week at the most, best way to recover is just rest for a few days then start doing very light training dont do too much as soon as its better.

hope this helped. :D

Hey, I saw your advice, but being a stubborn idiot, I couldn't help but train. After three hours today, my foot felt like it was on fire. I did some research, and it turns out that I may have mortons neuroma in its early stages... looks like I'm going to have to stop training for a while

Has anyone had this before? Any advice on what to do?

Also, mint, where do you feel pain on your foot? Does that part of your foot ever go numb?

hey man if it doesn't go away after a few days u better go see a doctor...it could be serious...and if u leave an injury like that, it could get bad
