Even Koeman plays with a 4-3-3 except he has Silva, a play maker playing a bit behind Joaquin and Villa. Rijkaard tried that when he put Ronaldinho and Messi in the middle but it didnt work out as planned. yea Silva never really played like a forward, more like an attacking midfielder. I must admit rijkaard is not very flexible in his systems at all, he is a big believer in the dutch "sexy football" style. But maybe it isnt working now but can you argue with a man who has won 2 league titles and a champions league title? I dont think he should be sacked he should be given till the end of next season to turn it around. Imagine if Ferguson was just sacked like that. ![]() CRYSTAL PALACE FC keller8 "If you don't believe in yourself why should anyone else?" Andrei Shevchencko. |

Its too ridiculous how people are going around saying they want mourinho to be coaching barcelona. Personally, I'd still like Rijkaard to stay. He made a huge impact on the team, winning two successive titles and a champs league. There is still a chance to repeat that this year.

ScottyBoy wrote: shahensha wrote: Goddamn... Fuck Henry and fuck ronaldinho. Both of them can go get skull fucked to death. This is pissing me off. come on go the whole way and say that rijkaard should fuck off Exactly the point. I have tried sticking up for ronaldinho and henry throughout the season but they have been the weakest link in the so called "fantastic four". Hell they are not even close to be the shit of someone fantastic. Ronaldinho gets injured majority of the season, comes back, shows some promise, gets injured again and now all of a sudden I am hearing reports that he is not really injured but faking it. I dont know what to believe. Even the ex psg coach said that Ronaldinho was a party animal and never the disciplinary. At times like this, for him to do that and allow the team to eat shit. Thats just shameful. Ronaldinho should learn something from Toure. He is playing with a bad back and even though he was advised to hang is boots up and go for surgery, he decided he will skip the surgery for some other time and play with some injections. Thats what you call dedication you bucktooth fuck. Henry hasnt done anything this season either. Adapting to new style and new lifestyle I understand but that should be done with by the first half of the season. He doesnt sprint, he doesnt run, he doesnt do shit. All he does is jog around. He never chases a throughball or cross. He is too lazy. He dribbles the ball, gets surrounded by a couple of players, loses control and falls down. Its not like he has lost his speed. Sometimes when he loses the ball, he sprints all the way back to his defence, overtaking pretty much everyone and snatches the ball away. However during the attack he is as dull as it can get. He blames missing his two year old daughter for his bad performance. Alright out with the confession, atleast now he should try hard. No absolutely not. Still he doesnt give a shit. I am not taking injuries as an excuse for these fucks. Eto'o was injured majority of season and he has been the most consistent perfrormer in this heavily inconsistent team. He pretty much scores a goal in every game. Messi even though he gets alot of injuries alteast makes an impact when he is on the field. As for Rijkaard I dont know how he is running the team but I know its definitely not working. Maybe he is not motivating his players properly. Maybe he is trying but the players have actually just given up and want an early end to the season. I dont know but if this keeps up till the end of the season, I am willing to say goodbye to Rijkaard, Ronaldinho and Henry. After the Almeria game, xavi said that before the game they saw videotapes of the Almeria team and figured out that most of their goals come from set-pieces.......yet still they dozed off on corners and allowed two goals After the game against Betis, Rijkaard said that he warned the players about complacency during halftime but did the players heed to his warning call? Definitely not. No one except for Puyol, Xavi, Toure, Messi, Bojan, Iniesta and Eto'o want the title.

To be honest Mourinho is the type of coach they need (I don't want him there)
Henry should go back to the EPL for the good of him and Barcelona (he obviously doesn't want to be there.) And even though I don't think that dinho was faking his injury he still needs some Adriano treatment or something. At the rate he's going, he might not become a legend like I thought he would |

Still I dont want to put the blame on rijkaard. He has done shitloads for the team and its the overpaid players who need to realize what they are doing with their lives. However, if the players are not really respecting and listening to the coach's decisions, then I guess its time for a change.
It seems that mourinho is eyeing this position for the longest time. Could actually be possible considering Rijkaard's statement that he will leave if barcelona dont win any trophies this year. Dont know what it will be like with Mourinho there. Would like to see Michael Laudrup though.

Laudrup would definetly bring a sense of pride(from being on the dream team) to the club but i dont know if he could win anything... ![]() sig by 2brown347 |
