Can't find any pics but i think Jermaine Pennant came on against Chelsea wearing the Mercurials Sls (Black/Pink) but then changed them literally two minutes after coming onfor the Orange Peel Vapor Sls, may be an indication that theyre not comfy or he may not have broken them in fully yet.

i don't see why ze roberto would be wearing Nike's when the last i heard he was still sponsored by adidas, like he's been for quite a long time

cavey i think he was wearing camoflauged boots. I just watched him getting subbed on and i saw no pink tick and i didnt see the pattern the woven carbon fibre makes. i dont think they were sl.s

dont know it could possinly just be a boot brand he isnt sponsored by but had is kitman black them out. Like per say he isnt he sponsored by nike? well maybe he is wearing like blacked out adipures or blacked out powerswerves.

I still wouldn't count our Cavey's observation. Maybe pennant was wearing the Mercurial SL's "blacked out." I wouldn't rule it out because ther was no pink tick, but then again maybe Calikid is right. I guess we won't know until someone finds some pictures.

why do some players wear tha sl's but others wear only tha 4s? maybe its just my opinion but i dont think pennant is one of nikes top or well known players.

No, i agree with you, but Pennant is one of the EPL's fastest players. Nike is really just trying to promote the shoes agility with some of the fastest players. |
