Puma, Lotto, Umbro and other topic.

i have the grey/black/yellow 1.08 tricks. And let me tell you I was surprised by its durability. I been playing hard in them about 8 times now, and got stepped on many many times in the front and in the heel side but no signs of damage what so ever.

So I think you don't have to worry about ripping or such.

I'm on a budget and I will be buying either v3.08 or 5.08 (depends on how much I got) has anybody had any of these shoes? If so can they tell me if they are good?

I now use 5.08 for training and F50.6 for match...

I choose 5.08 over 3.08 cos 3 where too soft for me...

You have good ball fell but are not stable as F50.6...

I second this. After a whole season's (and off-season's) worth of use my Puma V1.08 Synthetic Leathers are in perfect condition almost - bar the outer-right lace hole around the ankle slightly tearing and my right-sole is slightly crumpled/scrunched up. The latter is due to my foot shape/size I'm presuming (hopefully at least!).

Should I go and fork-out 170 odd dollars on a new pair of Puma V1.08 Tricks? I'm falling for them more-so by the day but I'm afraid the Puma V1.10's will be announced as soon as I fork out the dosh for the 08's!

EDIT: Ordering these V1.08 Tricks tomorrow morning in a US 10.5 - I'm wearing a US 11 atm. Will I get less length AND width? If so this would be a positive. I have a thumb's width space in the front of my pumas - any pointers on sizing would be greatly appreciated.

never seen these v1.10 pics
tongue/ lace cover looks dum but it looks like it had ventilation on the side and like flex zones for ur foot

i think they look pretty sweet compared to the last 2 v1s the lace cover is too skinny though

Wouldn't mind a complete lace-colour but the whole design looks like a step-down from the V1.08's. In which case I'll just continue buying them when these V1.10's come out (release date?). Any idea how to confirm that's the real design? The tongue-cover looks like a mock-up, the flex zone could be interesting to accommodate for the different foot shapes, but the whole design looks a bit pov.

Does anyone have any input on these Umbro SX Flares? They look interesting to me and I would like to give them a try but I want to see if you guys have had any experience with them.

They look awful!

But thanks for the link! Will most-likely suit the 2010 atmosphere (SA).

i like the new toe on the v1.10s. the only reason i wont buy a pair of v1.08 is because of that plastic toe in front

I am excited for the v1.10, I think they are the ugliest boots ever but when they are released the v1.08 (dead sexy) will be dirt cheap!
