I don't think so. He was 22, and he was in good shape. Weather couldn't create a heart attack for a healthy player who plays in the same climate every year (in Spain).

I have to disagree with this. Just last week, I heard a runner who collapsed after finishing a 21km marathon. He was 35 and was a captain in the army. My cousin's platoon-mate also collapsed during an exercise when they were training in US. Luckily he survived but got downgraded to clerk until he sees his contract out. And last year, few commandos here died while doing training

So, are U trying to say that they are not conditioned to the weather while undergoing training? Of course they were. In fact, all of us SHOULD have no problems doing strenuous activities in our respective climates.

So, there must be a reason for his death even though it is of natural cause. But I'd rather let him rest in peace. We shouldn't be arguing about his misfortune.

I think the most likely thing is a genetic predisposition to heart problems. Many people have it, its unfortunate, very unfortunate, but how else would a fit and healthy footballer, just have a heart attack all of a sudden? Drug use i should think is very unlikely.
