There were two aspiring young soccer players living in Seville, Spain. One was named Jose and the other we will call Pedro. Pedro was known throughout the city as one of the most promising youngsters ever to live in Seville. Jose was good, but he was always playing second fiddle to the talented Pedro. However, Pedro grew complacent. When he reached his teens, he began to go out every night to drink and party. Slowly, Pedro lost the dominance that he was so famous for. Eventually, Jose became known as the most promising prospect in Seville. Jose went on through the Seville youth system and became one of Seville's most influential players in the Spanish La Liga. Only a couple of days ago, he scored the game winning goal for Arsenal in their EPL match against Tottenham. If you haven't caught on, I am talking about Jose Reyes, Arsenal's 20(?) year old left winger.
The moral of the story is that even if you don't realize it, everything that you do off of the field can affect your play. Alcohol, drugs, etc can flush everything that you have worked for down the toilet. Use Jose Reyes' story for inspiration the next time that you think about partying the night before a game.

Too bad Jose will be probably off to Madrid this summer. His personality was too fragile and after the incident with the Spain coach regarding Henry, he never really caught form. I think it will probably end up being best for both Jose and Arsenal if he goes. Arsenal will get some much needed cash and maybe a player in return.

Apparently he is not a professional. And his real name wasn't Pedro. I just couldn't remember what his real name was.
