If you are looking for a team in London. Look.

While searching the net, I've found an excellent website where people in London can advertise themselves and managers/coaches can advertise if they need a player on their team.

Here it is:

Yeh, looks good, but that's only if you live in London
He who thinks too much about every step he takes will stay on one leg all his life.

im like 10 minutes away from swindon so if you could find a site about in swindon or around that area that will be good thanks

Hey wiseman:

I couldn't find like a message board like the London one but,
I've found a couple of teams that maybe you could apply to by email:
http://www.keynshamtownfc.co.uk/
http://www.thornburyfalcons.com/committee/committee.php?. I can't find an email for these guys but you can maybe call the club manager/coach.
Well basically if none of these clubs are interested or you don't fit their criteria try this http://socworld.users.netlink.co.uk/index.html and where it says email us at bristol soccer world, enquire about any teams that need players or whatever.

It's coming to the end of the season now, so I think teams will most probably tell you to come and train with them at the start of the season.

Good luck with the job hunting.

(To avoid confusion I've made 2 seperate posts.)

Hey Powell, this one's for you.

As with Bristol, I could not find an active recruitement board which advertise for players.
I found a website where you can contact the Wiltshire FA who will find you a football club, because "teams in Swindon do not have their own websites".

http://www.swindonweb.com/guid/p-sport.htm

Its on the website but incase you miss it:

Wiltshire FA contact details:
Secretary: Mike Benson
18 Covingham Square,
Covingham,
Swindon,
SN3 5AA
Tel: 01793 486047
Email: mike.benson@wiltshirefa.com

Good luck with the job hunting.

Rated Post: 4 Stars for Hustler69

Having gone out of his way to find information on finding a club for two seperate members, and posted this with links, I felt this post was deserving of a nice rating. Oh yes, and he used capital letters 'n' that, which I'm obsessed with. ;)

Keep it up, fella! 8)

thanks alot mate you really helped me there, magicfeet is right your post does derserve a really good rating congratz

I second that. Ironically, this post will get a 1 for the length, lol
He who thinks too much about every step he takes will stay on one leg all his life.

No, wiseman, your post was fine. :)

If there was a post of yours in this topic that would get a low grade, it would be "i live in bristol" - But that would be very harsh. I'm trying to get into the pattern of rating more posts at the moment, I hope others follow suit.

If you let someone know they posted something worthwhile, they're more likely to do it again. And as if by magic, the site will improve. 8)
