Thay have a good chance. Thay have good players like C. Ronaldo and Deco who plays for Barcelona. Portugal is very good team.

I must disagree with u there ratheron Deco is a world class distributor of the ball he brings so much to Barca. C.Ronaldo is becaming one of the best wingers of the world and Portugal also has great expirienced players such as Rui Costa and Figo in addition to other well known players such as Pauleta.

Maybe I was being a bit harsh on Deco but he's not in the class of Ballack, Gerrard, Lampard
Ronaldo is improving all the time but is still too erratic. Figo and Rui Costa were outstanding players (I saw them both play at their prime) but they are past their best. Someone said Portugal could win the cup, I said they aren't good enough. They will not even make the QF. Would you bet money on Portugal beating Argentina or Holland ?? Carvalho, Ferreira, Jorge Andrade, C.Ronaldo, Deco, Figo, Simao, Quaresma, Maniche.
Alot of quality there, not just two players. Still don't have a chance though, just don't bash'em too badly. |
