Player Vs. Player
| Posted: 13 Feb 2006, 22:12 | |

Makelele is class. He has been playing very consistently and you can see how Chelsea have suffered without him. Emerson is excellent also, but it is not so obvious with Vieira in the same midfield. Makelele for me.
Essien versus Emerson The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.

essien. not by much, but just enough. he's one of chelsea's lynchpins in the midfield, whereas emerson is just another cog in the juve machine. he helps juventus work, while essien makes chelsea work. essien is also more fit in my opinion.
c. ronaldo vs. robben Hala Galacticos |

Ronaldo. He is just as quick as Robben if not faster, more skillful, more entertaining to watch, and more versatile. Apart from that they're the same player...........
Robinho versus C. Ronaldo The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.

robinho. he's very skillful, just as much as ronaldo although people don't realize it. he can create goals from nothing as well, something ronaldo is still working on. they're very close though.
diego milito vs. messi Hala Galacticos |

Messi, Milito is a striker, Messi is younger and has a better future...
duos... EMERSON & VIEIRA vs ESSIEN & MAKELELE FORÇA BARÇA! "I’m a player who can do absolutely anything if I am smiling and laughing. If I’m not happy, then everything becomes more of a struggle,” explained Adriano. |

I'd go for Chelski's pair. Essien by himself dominates a midfield and Makelele is the most reliable player in Europe at the moment. Juventus' midfield is certainly very strong as well, but Chelski's is more consistent.
Henry versus Adriano The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.

i'd go with henry. he's arguably the best player in the world right now. the only thing adriano has on him is shot power and aerial skill, and even the power one is questionable.
juninho vs. nakamura Hala Galacticos |
| Posted: 16 Feb 2006, 00:17 | |
Juninho, he is better in every field...
Tevez v Rooney FORÇA BARÇA! "I’m a player who can do absolutely anything if I am smiling and laughing. If I’m not happy, then everything becomes more of a struggle,” explained Adriano. |

Rooney, he is more effective and better as an all-round attacker. Tevez needs to move to a club in Europe in order to improve and make himself better-known.
Cassano vs Gilardino The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.
| Posted: 16 Feb 2006, 21:08 | |
cassano is more versatile, but gilardino is a better pure striker. i pick gilardino because he can usually be counted on to score in critical times, whereas cassano can lose his cool and mess up more.
guti h. vs. sneijder Hala Galacticos |
| Posted: 17 Feb 2006, 03:18 | |
Sneijder because he is younger and seems to be establishing himself internationaly.
M. Carrick v Kevin Nolan FORÇA BARÇA! "I’m a player who can do absolutely anything if I am smiling and laughing. If I’m not happy, then everything becomes more of a struggle,” explained Adriano. |

Carrick. He is becoming a very classy defensive midfielder, and is establishing himself for both club and country. One for the World Cup quad?
Totti versus Veron The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.
| Posted: 17 Feb 2006, 23:14 | |
totti. veron's not been doing well lately, while totti continues to carry roma on his shoulders. he's not as versatile as veron, but he can always be counted on to make a big play.
ian harte vs roberto carlos Hala Galacticos |
| Posted: 18 Feb 2006, 19:43 | |
Since Harte's departure from Leeds United, I haven't heard anything of him. Roberto Carlos is consistently good for Real Madrid so I will go for him.
Cafu versus Gary Neville The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.
| Posted: 18 Feb 2006, 20:56 | |
cafu. neville is great, but cafu can initiate attacks, make goal creating passes, and make good overlapping runs, whereas neville mostly stays back and defends, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in most cases.
ballack vs. kaka Hala Galacticos |
