-"you get better playing with other people"
-"get out there and just play and get experienced"
-"the best way to learn is playing with others"
alot of people say these phrases and other similar ones. but in my opinion thats not the truth. there are alot of people out there that only pass it to the people that are good, i know it makes sense but lets say you are new, been playing for only a couple of months, and you go to play with some random people, or any other game. you notice one thing, they only pass it to themselves and their friends and the only way you get the ball is if defending or when its loose. how are you supposed to learn playing with others if you dont get the ball?? i see this sometimes and it is extremely unfair and you really dont learn. this is why I think and believe in that no matter how new you are or who you are playing with, "everyone should have an equal chance with the ball"
your opinions?
sorry for the long post

i understand, and i agree mostly...
but when i play with anonymous people i try to amaze them with every touch when they give me the ball... that will make them give you the ball often...
OR during a break you can do some great freestyle tricks, and they will start passing to you in 2nd half...
BELIEVE ME, this works....
i would say: "playing with friends makes you better"

everything in your post was 100 percent correct jc denton. I was about to say the exact same thing. When you DO get the ball, do a great move or something, and run past a couple of players past it off, and you'll get the ball a ton.

When I first started playing, I played with my friends. True, I didn't get the ball like RealMadridFan.inPR but I tried to win back possession for the team. Others will have this impression of U being a hard-working player despite the lack of skills. Overtime, when U've gained enough experience, U'll receive passes like others last time. Before I stopped playing football, I always got involved with freekick-taking and other simple stuffs. Don't worry, U need not be a skillful guy to 'wow' them. It's how safe Ur play is for the team to win games. In 2001, my team played simple football and we won many games 1-0. The biggest was 4-0.

I was lucky enough for when I first started playing I played picks ups with my friends but even then I was playing defense so driving with the ball wasen't too big of an issue for me, I usually passed it to a mid a few seconds after I got the ball. Soon after I started to play in a leauge as a midfielder and I had a few problems with people I didn't know giving me the ball but if you husstle and are in good position if there a good player they'll pass the ball to you. I think its natural for someone to be scared to pass the ball to someone they have never seen play. If they are in fact a good player they'll recognize when and where to pass the ball and do it, its just a matter of you being there and making the play.

i use to have that problem in pre-season when i joined my club 3 years ago, but i was lucky enough to score in my first game for the club so i was one of the team then. nowdays i'lll pass it to whoever is in the better position, just hoping that they'll be able to control the ball as they may not be the brightest ;D
