impossible for me to say.

whilst i love watching team goals such as brazil vs italy 1970 world cup, or valencia vs liverpool in the champions league not long ago, individual efforts such as maradona, giggs and kaka are fantastic to watch. i also like watching rooney, gerrard and nedved long-distance goals.

and sometimes goals created by one pass or one exceptional piece of skill are very memorable, like ronaldinho's vs chelski or kaka's pass to set up crespo for milan's second in the champions league final last season.

so i simply can't choose!

yeah man its scary how good he is and he is young man when it seems brasil doesnt have a star anymo here comes another one well thats what it seems to me there just so freakin talented

personaly i love long distance shots, it's just so classy to see a guy ram the ball into the back of the net from 20 or 30 meters out or get some fantastic curve that leaves the keeper sayin "what happened"
If your 5 minutes early to practice your
on time, if your on time your late.

Long distance shots and Juninho freekics :)

I love lobs, it's beautiful seeing an out of position keeper being stranded by a slow, looping ball.

God damn brewery!!!

Long distance shots and freekicks are my favourite. When your closer or doing a spectacular shot there is room for error and it can still go in. With LD you have to be inch perfect, so for me they are the most 'skillful'. Its not all about power from that far out. You need more technique to do long distance than a bicycle kick. Scientists worked out that if David Beckham's freekick taking was out by 1% that the shot would miss. 99% accuracy needed, and look how many he scores. Thats surely the best type of goal anyone could score

free kicks are definitely harder than most to score, but it's about what looks best. i've seen some incredible free kicks, but the maradona type goals are what i live for. they're what really make the game for me. if you've ever played in a real competetive game, you'll know how hard it is to dribble past 2 or 3 defenders. imagine having the confidense to go through 5 or 6, AND the keeper, AND then have the composure to hit the net on a weird angle.

yea goals like that take some real class to perform

Its harder to go through peoople in a competitive game than in practice but its not impossible I"v gona through 5 before chiping the keeper in my game this season. Ofcourse My league is nowhere near the pros but Im just saying whilst it's hard its not impossible. Iv tried and tried before I'v done it. But in the end it was all worth it.

obviously it's not impossible, seeing as a lot of people score those goals in professional leagues. i was just saying it's very hard to do. anyway, what about this type of shot: it doesn't always have to be long range, although it usually is, but it like curls in the opposite direction of what you would usually curl with that foot. for example, if you hit it with the right foot, it would curl back to the right. dennis bergkamp's goal in 1998 against argentina is a good example of what i mean. they're usually long range though, such as henry's famous volley against manchester united. it's not really a type of goal in itself, but i think when the ball curls like that, it makes any shot look better

how do you do that, did Bergkamp and Henry do that on purpose or was it just an accident?
