Could very well be. Amazing reaction, and it's not like the shot was whiffed on either. He got something on it, and from not very far away. Did it touch his hand, or was he just able to knock it upwards with his forearm? I can't tell.

Hehe, looked like a volleyball move almost. It was a good save although I could probably dig up more exciting saves on Youtube.

Really? I reckon it was good save, but for some reason i'm not impressed by it.... The shot was straight at the middle right where he was standing, it was compicated because it was from so close, and he was already on the ground, but the shot went straight to the center where he was at...
Casillas had one of the most agile, skilled, and talented player in the world in front of him, that could have put it away in a number of ways, and waited till the last second to commit, absolutely brilliant.... Robben could have attempted to score on so many ways, and Casillas knew this... odds where so low against him and he managed to pull the save Everybody has a different opinion though.. to know Him is to want to know Him more" "i don't know where the limit is, but I know where it is not" Tocar y moverse y tratarla siempre muy muy bien..' |

Casillas has a couple better saves than the one in the OP, including the one panch posted.
Two alone are in this single video in the game vs. Sevilla last season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbQX2cm8Ulg Quote: On a different note everyone's pretty good with women when it comes to hookers... well except the sham-wow guy.

Thanks ScottS4 for the link, I'd say this save was purely on reflexes and bravery from Craig Gordon soccerjj wrote: Ha in my opinion this has got to be the best save/ double save EVER. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri_BmyOUSj0 Thanks soccerjj for the video link. I think this one, the keeper knew his goal posts & bar really well. Also, he demonstrated good reflexes and instinct to anticipate where Rivaldo's header was coming from. Good effort guys ![]() Explore Freestyle Soccer Tricks blog http://soccer-tricks.blogspot.com |
