Posts: 3006 		The Euro 2012 finals will feature 16 teams (Euro 2016 will be expanded to 32 teams).

Poland and Ukraine qualify as hosts.

The 9 group winners will also qualify.

The runner up with the best record will also qualify. For teams in Groups of 6, results against the bottom team will not be included when deciding the best runner up.

The remain 8 runners up will be drawn in an undoubtably fixed home & away play-off to decide the remaining 4 places.

Posts: 3006 		Looking at the groups, I would expect the best runner up to come from Group C if Serbia maintain their WC qualifying form. They look to be the strongest two teams in a weak group so I wouldn't expect them to drop many points against the other teams.

I don't see any other groups with TWO obvious teams for the top spots.
