Jay-Z is shit. He wasn't made a decent song in years and is still riding on his previous success. I don't get how he's so popular, I mean when I think best rap songs a Jay-Z song never pops into my head.

Check out recent rappers like Cormega, Q-Tip, etc. who are still doing shit right(of course most of them started up in the nineties but oh well haha). There are still good hip hop artists out there, they're just really hard to come by.
And Jay-Z's American Gangster was great in my mind. Besides that, Kingdom Come and BP3 definitely sucked. Jay'sonly good albums were Reasonable Doubt, The Black Album, Blueprint, and Volume 3...but they were all classic albums imo.

...Umm for the record Our Song by Taylor Swift is the 3rd greatest song of all time. Outclassed only by Love Story and Tear Drops On My Guitar, which are both by Taylor Swift aswell.

I think the better MCs these days are Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, Eminem.
Nas released the Untitled album last year and I thought it was very good. Also I like the hip hop group Atmosphere. Their albums are quality.
