Hey guys, its keller.

Just kinda making a little post to update on what I've been up to recently, and to say goodbye Very Happy

Well, since dropping off of EF, I've migrated to FDU, seeing as I've given up on real football and moved to freestyle. I just really souldnt be arsed anymore, I didnt want a routine, I wanted to do what I wanted when I wanted. Now I go by the nickname/alais of KellerFS Very Happy

Anyway....

I've become a full-time freestyler, and have recently gained a couple of sponsorships with some noted companies, including Kelme Footwear and Brisbane Roar(previously Queensland Roar), which is my local A-League Club.

I've improved alot in my freesyle skill, and I think that making the move the move to freestyle was a good decision for me.

I haven't been on EF alot lately, in fact, pretty much never. I've seen some old faces and some new ones, but by god, the Fun Activities thread has gone downhill! Looks like I supported that on my own....

Anyone done anything with SOTW? Didnt think so. Haven't seen H2BH or Davidson9 around, with the little browsing I've actually done. Whatever happened to them? I also miss red rover, 2brown347 and kaka'sgotskillz, who always offered good advice Razz

I've had a little look at the freestyle section every now and then, but it seems to be full of kids(like once myself), just posting a question "Please help me be like ronaldinho". For fucks sake people, FUCKING PRACTISE! I learnt that, by actually going out and fs'ing.

Also, on the brief looks I've had at the Finishing and Passin thread, almost every 2nd or 3rd topic is "how do I shoot a ball like C Ronaldo?". Very Happy

So EF, this is goodbye. I'll probly come back every so often, because I love you guys soooooo much, but if I do, thats your birthday present OK? Thanks to everybody who made my stay here enjoyable, and thanks for all the advice I got from everybody on everything. Yes, even powell Razz

Well keller good luck in life my man, make sure to check back once in a while.

But brown I don't think we will ever go back to those days, the golden age of EF is long gone. I mean we still have some good users around like you, me, soccer11, etc but people move on. I mean how much longer will you be around? I joined when I was 15 years old and now I'm almost 20. As we get older we are just not going to have the time or maybe even the interest in EF anymore.

Exactly how does the "Golden Age" compare to now? I'm assuming this was when EF was first getting started, and it didn't have people asking the same questions over and over again.

Awe PUYH, the golden age (circa 2005-2008). The golden age was when the forum was full of active "clicks" the most powerful will remain nameless but those involved know. It was a time where you could flame anyone, sig makers had other members beggin for their work, and many a good post was made. A ancient time where users like expert, zinski, powell, soccer11, JB, Zlatan, BG, ajc, IWGP, rath, CB, Hugh, Nev, Hen, kaka, s4l, zing, R_Z, Rome, and so so so many more frequented the forums spreading knowledge and bustin chops. A time where the chat room was often used. A time long before the religion thread brought the dark time and devided the forum, before the never forgotten "week of no EF", and well before me and Nev kidnapped Expert.

Don worry pickyourheadup... Me, you, Rome and bsc might just save EF from the damned, with the help from from older members like soccer11, 2brown and CB

Its funny, in their old age all those members 2brown mentioned think of nothing more of how much they miss each other... But instead blame it on the forum... The new golden generation might be under construction

Natuarlly enough life will draw members away from EF (as happened with me) But sure enough EF is always just been recreation, treating it like a lifestyle might have been what made it great for some, but in the end its the chemistry of the current users that make this place what it is

And chemistry will improve with time
