It's all just one big scam that nerds (such as myself) came up with to pray on the trust of non-nerds. ok well can u please go into further detail? If I don;t use Norton, then what can I use to take its place if the spyware programs are all scams? Use what windows gives you. Windows Defender + Malware Remover which can both be easily downloaded from Microsoft.com. Unless you are running some kind of business, most anti-spyware programs are really unnecessary and a pain in the ass. Just remember to keep all your programs and stuff updated with the latest security patches, as well as your OS. Use firefox because it comes with some sort of anti-spam/phishing program already built in. Just generally speaking don't visit and 'questionable website' or download something from a website you don't trust or don't think is safe. yea I have FireFox and its so much better than IE. IE 7 always used to crash and randomly close windows but FireFox fixed it all. and Zlatan5, I did go on that site for help but my problem was fixed...by me |

NO U FAIL AT LIFE! actually it wasn't the same exact virus, it was a trojan but only one of the "replicating" ones. the first one i got completely took over my computer. so for the second one I got i only had to scan and it was deleted. but that first virus scared me cause I couldn't even access the "START" button anymore...that one really messed up my computer. and on the background this biohazard sign showed up .my screen looked just like this http://www.precisesecurity.com/images/red-biohazard.jpg The testicles of a "right whale" weigh 1100 lbs each....... |

lmao guys I'm a genius. I caught it by accident. Well, I've had for a while now and it's only affected pretty much my IE. Anyways, I guess I'll just fix it now since I have the time.
