I've noticed as I was browsing through ancient threads, that the posts only display the Month, Day, and time. Wouldn't it help if people knew the year that the post was made?

I think the server does not convert the dates to text anymore. They might just drop the date cache to support the current running time. Not too sure though. I could be wrong.

hmm what do you mean they don't show the year? do you mean like this?

because as you see, it says the post was made in 2007. Or are you talking about something else?

I don't see where it says the posts were from 2007. This is the only information that I've noticed: "Jun 28, 2:54 am"

It may be the way your settings are configured to display dates, if s11 and I can see the year and you can't. Try checking them in the 'My Settings' tab and adjusting them.
