Falling in love.

In a way, yes. We all know that 'negging' girls, so to say, is the best way to get them to like you. Every girl likes to be teased. However... It's not to say that being good to them can't turn results either. Both have worked for me in the past and the present.

It's just the way it's worded that makes me think he's more than a little bitter. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not trying to imply that you can't succeed in football without a relationship, or if that isn't the path that is right for some people. I just think it's unfair to generalize and say you cannot train and be 100% focused while in a relationship.

my point,if you can handle it,that is if your mature enough

Why do you never put a space after your commas?

because i don't fee like it,mind you,got a problem?deal with it. :P

FINE. You guys aren't the only two who are on me about that. I will try to correct my grammar? Everyone happy now? I guess it makes much more sense, Out of laziness i suppose? I guess it will help me in the long run.

- On that note, Soccer4life is that why you haven't replied to my PM's because my messages are so hard to read. Possibly because I wrote them in a tardy manner? (If so, next time drop a line if you must, that goes for anyone really) I write what i think, before i think it. I think someone might have mentioned it once or twice, its called "stream of conscious". That and I am becoming much more lazy haha.

Love sucks. You love and then get dumped for another one. Even your wife will fuck with your best friend, your poolboy, etc.
"Girls love good boys, but they fuck the bad ones."

Everyone needs love, its important but like rome leader says you can balance football and a relation ship if u want to.

Unless you get with a girl thats crazy about football then she'll probably train with you. :P

The first time I fell in love was the first time I saw a football.

Love is an emotion, football is a game

Football isn't a part of love
Love is a part of football

Emotion is the most basic, personal and amazing feeling that you can ever get in life... Why be so stupid to say your doing yourself any good by putting it off?

Letting your emotional baggage build up will not help you in football, since football is a medium of expression, your inner emotions always come out no matter what... If you are happy, in love and relaxed, you will be a better player than a un-focused, frustrated and angry one

You can be talented, succesful and rich but sometimes they won't answer why are you alone at night...

Wonderful post, NBP. You really put a lot of passion into your posts when you talk about subjects like this. I really like, also, how you mention that love is an integral piece of football, but not the other way around. They are separate, and always have been.

Enjoying the new rating abilities eh? lol

The second rating ever. ;) Hope you weren't too disappointed. :P

But yeah, it's like anything, really. In moderation, fine. In large doses, nothing can be healthy.

I actually disagree

I think emotion is the one thing that your should seek the most in life, experience loads of it then through experience understand its limits and foundations

In that case, yes, you are right, but the point I'm trying to drive at is...

Eat a few chocolate bars, nothing will happen to you. Eat many, and your health will suffer.

Break your finger once, it can be fixed. Break it many times, and it will not necessarily go back the same way.

Yes, we should be looking for love and relationships in our life as much as possible, to experience as much as we can to make us happy. We have to take risks to feel thrills and yes, we must take many of them. But there is a difference between loving a lot, and being a whore, yes? Both a lover and a whore may claim many lovers, but the lover has the more meaningful relationships. Sometimes, you can have a lot and it can be a bad thing. Or having a lot could be a good thing.

However, in the context of the thread, the OP is talking about love consuming your life. A certain type of love that really hinders your ability to enjoy other things in life, like football. When we look at it being 'too much' in that sense, it really is too much emotion that has left us blind to being truly happy. Just like, if you truly love your girlfriend, you see her flaws as well as her strong points. You realize she's not perfect, but you're willing to put up with the flaws because you love her. A balance, if you will. That's all you need to be happy. A balance of emotions, relationships and football. :P

Word bruv on most parts, except for the raw emotion a whore might feel, like she's a girl who likes it... alot

A serial lover, is a girl who falls in love... alot

The whore experieces physical love... lust, where the lover may feel only emotions at times, and when your emotions are good, you can help but feel amazing

And just to force something to the original poster

Love hurts and is a curse on your life
But life is far worse of a curse without it
