Ok I guess you don't know what a smiling emote is, but anyway.
I answered your question and then added my own opinion. Yes there prolly are more black people voting this year so they can vote for McCain, but there's also more white people voting who don't normally vote. And those people are voting for McCain because they don't want a black president.

I'm white and voting for Obama. I don't think its fair to generalize that white people will vote for Mccain and black for Obama. One's skin color doesn't mean anything in who one votes for. There are some black people who won't vote for Obama.

How ignorant are you? You're saying that anyone with a name that isn't seen as 'American' is a terrorist? So if I were to change my name to Muhammad you would think that i was a terrorist if I showed you my ID?
Do us all a favor and wake the fuck up, or fuck off.

wow really? even if you believe that, it's not one of those things you share on an open forum.

That fact that you would even bring it up is ignorant imo. Even if you truly were joking why would you say that, especially in a public form? Why does it matter what someone's name is, a name really means nothing. Ted Bundy had a regular sounding name and he ended up being a crazy rapist and serial killer. Names can be decieving. Just because someone has a muslim name doesn't make them a terrorist. Obama could be the nicest guy in the world for all you know.
Though you say it was a joke, it still scares me. Ever since 9/11 people are so quick to turn against someone because they are different. A few bad people doesn't make a whole society (muslims/middle eastern in this case) bad.

What is with you? He's my type of guy? I like all types of guys. Just because I like Clichy doesn't mean anything. I'm not picking him because of his looks or race you idiot. I'd rather have Obama in office than some 70 year old wrinkled man who is one flu away from being seriously ill. I want a president who is going to get us out of poverty and this war,or at least put us in the right country and hunt for the person behind 9/11. He has a great education plan especially when it comes to college. And yes I do think Obama is better looking than a 70 year old man but thats not why i'm voting for him. You don't know anything about me so how dare you jump to conclusions because of who I like in terms of a soccer player. It doesn't mean shit! I love Freddie Ljungberg, hes fuckin hot imo, those ck ads, but that doesn't mean i'm going to go out a vote for a swedish person.

I don't think he meant you like him because he's black. I think he meant more along the lines that the only reason you're voting for him because you like him and think he's nice. no where in there did he say anything about race.

Well that isn't the reason I'm voting for him. As I stated above, I believe (key word I) that he will get us out of the war (it needs to end imo), help the economy (its needed badly), and his education plan is great especially the part about money for college.

Obama is going to win. The polls suggest he is ahead but there may be an element of the Bradley Effect there. However, he is miles ahead of McCain with the PR and image side of things. We had someone like him in the UK 12 years ago - his name is Tony Blair.
Its all smoke and mirrors and Obama knows that is what it takes to win an election because ultimately, the majority of voters aren't clever enough to understand policies, etc, they just cast their vote as if it were a popularity contest. The best leaders aren't always popular.
