Essien Vows to never play for Lyon Again

Michael Essien, Lyon's star midfielder has vowed never to play for them again after they refused transfer offers from Chelsea. Do you think he will play again for Chelsea? Will he be traded?

I don't understand players who say they won't play for their club anymore. It is undestandable that Lyon want to keep essien because he is a great player. Now when he says he won't play for them it shows the lack of honor and the greed of money and fame that essien obvieusly has. He signed a contract he should play.

i dont think they need him they already have great forwards like crespo lampard duff cole and drogba defense kinda needs some work

what lyon are doing is not right
im from ghana and ill be the first to say the guy isnt worth the 23 million chelsea have put forward let alone the 32 million lyon are asking they guy has told them he wants to leave opportunities like these cannot be missed lyon shud just let him leave who doesnt want to play for jose? umm essien is a DEFENSIVE midfielder and chelski lost 1 league game and conceded the least goals so OBVIOUSLY the defence needs work.... The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.
