Should Owen Stay with Real Madrid?

According to recent news, speculation is Owen is not wanting to stay ad Madrid if he will be benched. According to a survey Reds (liverpool) fans would gladly welcome him back. He is looking to return to England, either for Liverpool or Man U. What do you think he should do?

yea..go to england, van nistelrooy is not delvering the goods..do the math.
I kno chicks that blow mor jobs dan bad workers - Incisive

It would be good for England if he paired up with Rooney on a club level. They could really gel.
He who thinks too much about every step he takes will stay on one leg all his life.

i think he should leave, but not to man u. van nistelrooy is stil van nistelrooy. what are they gonna do, sell him. just watch what he does, give him half a season to evaluate his performance, if he still isnt producing, then fine sell him. i dont think they would want owen though. maybe a move back to liverpool is best.

he should come to chelsea, we are in need of a world class striker WHO IS ACCUSTOMED to AND COMFORTABLE IN THE ENGLISH GAME
drogba and crespo are world class, but they are not as comfortable or prolific in england for some reason. i may be wrong, but i still feel that Owen wants to prove himself in madrid, he is out of his "comfort zone" and this is a true challenge for him. to go back to england would be a bit unambitious if you ask me, considering that he is a proven goal scorer there, and he has little to prove
it would be good for chelsea if jose wanted him, and i would be happy to see him as a blue
but i think owen will stay in madrid until january, and if he is starved of playing time he will probably come back to aid Man u or Liverpool or even arsenal in their challange to chelsea
but even so, he could still stay in madird, i believe goran eriksson said something about being willing to pick players who arent first teamers for their clubs for england.
Ronaldo, Robinho, Raul, Owen?

Fergie Grabs Owen
Manchester United want to rescue Michael Owen from Real Madrid. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has told the Glazer family, the new owners at Old Trafford, that he wants to cut a deal for Owen. The England striker is available if United meet the £11million buy-out clause in Owen's contract. But the Glazers have made it clear they expect Fergie to raise funds by selling his own misfits from Old Trafford.

Owen S.O.S
Michael Owen is praying for Manchester United or Liverpool to save him from the soccer wilderness. What is certain is that Owen has no future at Real Madrid after the Spanish giants yesterday confirmed the £35million arrival of Brazilian duo Julio Baptista AND Robinho. A close pal said: "Michael is not prepared to spend a season sitting on the bench in Spain, especially as this is a World Cup year."

Great news goldboots7 ... 11 million seems like someone might buy him. Man U or liverpool. But if he goes to Man U will he start? With Rooney and Vanistelrooy how will they insert Owen in the lineup. As we all know he wants to leave Real because he is not getting playing time and it would almost be the same thing in Old Trafford unless they do some kind of 3 man rotation or play 3 up front. Maybe they can play a 4-3-1-2 with either one of the strikers playing attacking midfield.

But it might be the same in Anfield because Liverpool would have to make room for Owen with Cisse and Garcia.

it seems to be clear tht it is in owen's best interests to find a club where he will have a regular place in the starting line-up, ideally a champions league playing club. especially since this is a world cup year.

but manchester united? if alan smith is going to keep playing in central midfield to replace roy keane then u cd argue tht we are a striker short of what we had last year. but we still hav rooney, saha, van nistelrooy solskjaer and bellion. clearly, we are not struggling in that area of the team. also, if we are to continue playing with a formation where only one striker is required, then there is definetly no need to spend £11million on micheal owen, money which should be used to find a replacement for roy keane (ballack or essien being fergie's first choices).

liverpool aren't exactly short of strikers either - morientes, garcia, crouch, (possibly) baros, mellor......i think the best move for owen wd be arsenal, who are clearly willing to spend money on a striker and hav a manager who feels they need one. also, arsenal can offer garunteed champions league football. similarly, chelsea's strikers were a little disappointing last year and mourinho may be interested. it will be very interesting to see where he ends up.

wenger already said he doesnt want owen....but man u...after watching bellion, saha, and so forth owen would be a good buy. to me anyways. id rather him go back to liverpool with gerrard.
Wow, he just megged three people, maradonas around the last defender, and missed the shot, then not five minutes later a guy on the other team shoots when he gets the ball and scores...

who would you rather be?
